Does anyone else find themselves continuosly staring at their rides??If i've been working on her & head back into the house I find myself looking back over my shoulder several times just for "that one last glance"its really quite scary!!!

sad thing is that, not only do i look at the car (when I get a chance!) Over my shoulder, but when looking at it front on I have the "head tilt syndrome!" And its not only yhe car, its all the accesories and parts as well!

Isnt it nice to know we all love our cars enough to spend time with them when were not driving them. When I get kicked out of the house because I want to watch an educational program on the TV instead of big brother or pop stars or other silly programs. I go downstairs and spend my time reading with my Beetle's, Pige and Jade. I look at them talk to them and laugh with them, I sit in them and I work on them. I feel calm relaxed and happy, unless I am doing a clutch cable, then I may get a bit stressed!!!! Its a bit hard doing it on your own.

Your right on the money......work sux but on the way home the engine calms me right down. the drone coming from back of the car is fantastic. Park Vern in the garage and say "thanks for the ride home mate" stroke his fender and look back as I turn the light off.

I've been a window watcher for ever. It is aparently genetic m my old man did te same thing. Chapel street south yarra on a sat arvo used to be the best. now it is full on every day so you gotta keep a keen eye out. I particulaarly like the buildings with 45deg corner windows, some are even mirrored......

I can't say that I sit and look at my VW, cause technically I don't have one. There is my husbands kombi (Winky) but it's not that pretty to look at, but I am trying to get a VW all of my very own (I need a squareback to fit me and 2 babies in), just gotta sell my little Charade (The Mighty Beast) and find a suitable squareback.
On the subject of VW spotting, I do it all the time but because I drive a non VW car people think I am a bit strange stearing at their VW's at traffic lights. :alien

I've now been apart from my bus for 3 days as shes been stuck at a strange mechs.I was so happy to see her today & sit in her....even with the springs in the seat that pinch my butt shes still way better than the brand new car from the hire car place that only has 700 kms on the clock,power steering & all the other mod cons,i'd still prefer my bus anyday..馃槈
