I did buy something off him ages ago. I sent a telegraphic transfer for the amount plus shipping then he came back and said that he was charged EUR12-00 bank charges. I got my folks in Ireland to send him the money but the whole transaction took nearly 4 months. Lucky for him the feedback thing had disappeared the transaction took that long!

This was my experience, yours may be different!!!

if you can pull it off w/o it lookin' dodgy.. good on ya.. if you can't.. then it kinda puts you there w/ith the split Bay busses.. but each to their own 🙂

I'm sure we could get a few peoples advice on welding in a split clip.. There seems to be a few around lately.. Maybe it is a trend?

Go to the the Day of the Volkswagen you might see a real one. There is also a good chance you could see a Dodgy one. 🙂

besides... you could always make up an extra piece of black roof material to block out the back window into the shape of the splitty. :P

There is a guy here in Adelaide who had this done to his oval, he fitted a split rear window and as he says it was done years ago he keeps telling people it is a split.

Once an oval always an oval.
