I know filesizes are a little oversize at the moment and the second one needs to be scaled down a little, but which do you think looks better?

I'd say the wheel in the middle flows better but the wheel on the side might be more functional... You can't really judge completely as the rest of the page has to blend with it too.
My 2 cents.

thanks for you input. The only problem I have with the centred one is that it hangs down further and takes up more page, otherwise I like it better too.
I have updated them both (big2.htm is gone) and by popular request, added some text to get a feel of what it might look like in the end.
Now that I have learnt new tricks I will have to go and redo all the dodgy websites I have created in the past.

I prefer the one with it on the side, however its not lining up centred with the text... I guess you will fix that though (either that or its just my pc.. wouldn't be surprised).

The centred one...the other one had the whell cut in half with the small pop up screen..before I maximised/restored up
I like the third option but I think the wheel needs to be bigger, it looks out of proportion.
That one just above, option 4? Now that is very nice! It'd be nice to place the half wheel next to the line and curve it around. Then you could try move the heading so it sits just under the wheel?

Never work in groups, especially small groups, especially groups of 3. personally I like the 3rd one.
