if it's stock other wise and ya keeping the bonnet chrome, then keep the side chrome as well.

bonnet has been de-chromed, debadged and no longer has a handle, but thinking of keeping all other chrome. the bonnet will have a gold volkswagen badge at the side of the front

Use POR Color Krome and paint chrome Green, nice shiny chrome, with green colour mmmmm 馃檪

It sounds like a chrome off sorta ride to me....

As others said...depends on the look you're after....go through VW mags if your unsure...

If your bonnet as all chrome off...and your bonnet will have a gold volkswagen badge at the side of the front...chrome would clash....Too fixed up...

You could Gold Plate your chrome trims 馃榾

No to chrome in this case....
