My mate Dave (who I got my notch from) hit the side of a 60 series LandCruiser on his Harley 9 years ago, knocking it onto its side!! He's still got numerous steel plates, screws and pins holding him together, and he can barely walk on a cold day!! 🙁 And to make things worse, it was the LandCruiser driver's fault!!

My brother did a similar thing when a lady driver did a right-hand turn into a driveway from the left-hand side of the road. He hit her square on the RH front wheel, sending him about 25' through the air where he landed on the nature strip. Fortunately he had no serious injuries, but it wiped out his recently-purchased BMW R100.

Hmm, silver car came charging out of that driveway where the people are standing without looking where they were going?

Ouch!!! that is not a good look ive run into the odd tree or three and maybe a fence but usually got out with out making a trip to the emergency room unlike this guy

My boss was telling me about a story of one of his mates many years ago riding along Sandgate Rd on a bike and a car backed out from a driveway and he hit it straight on......he was taken to hospital and when they looked at his bike there were two small indents in the fuel tank and his mate had two VERY sore testicles......:thumb

Obviously the car driver never saw him! Must have been his bowls hat restricting his vision. And is that a Volvo?
