i say yes, only because i dont really want to offend anyone by saying they are male/female in a post, can be embarrassing.
maybe it could be an optional thing, if you wish to state your sex then go ahead if not you dont have to.

I probably would have to go with Heather on this one it would be really heard to tick the Female box ....... and it should not be an issue if someone is male or female.
