Some VW entrepeneur (however) could make a fortune doing a CD of dakdak sounds......Real freaks would be able to diagnose & identify each engine.....Then sell it through Minataur...sorry I was there today...that's why...Aardman Classics on DVD 馃槑

I was hoping someone with memory/knowledge would come along and shed some light 馃槑
I don't know anyone with a copy...or heard anyone talk about it being alble to get one anywhere...
If someone had a good quality record....it could be recorded onto CD....
Tapes loose their quality over time.....and they break....not a good medium...Chances would be slim of finding a good one don't you think?

I did know of a website that was selling cds purely of the different sounds of a beetle motor 馃榾 )(in 1st gear, 2nd, idling... etc) can't remember the site though!

what the ring tone thing? that would be cool, think of your phone making the noise of a revving , very bad arse vw motor. I had a gt3 engine note for a while, is that really geeky?:duh
