What is the shortest time you have owned a certain VW?
I owned an old Kombi (believe it was a '58) for an hour. The car was given to me and I was over the moon, but after an hour I realised I couldn't move it away in time and had to give it back. But....I did own it for an hour! Found a picture on the weekend of it which reminded me.
So, what about the rest of you?

Yep, a couple of months on a roll top bug with rusty pan...

yup, about 2 months for me too (just enough time to strip it to a bare shell and be rid of it)

I owned a '79 diesel Golf for about 1/2 an hour, got it home, made a phone call and sold it to a friend.

about 10 minutes. I was told about a early bay totaly covered in bush's and trees in a yard. I told a mate and i went off to see if i could find it which i did. After speaking to the owner we done a deal and it was all mine. I started to clear out the bush's and tree branch's so that i could remove the kombi and get it on the back of my tilt bed. About 10 minutes into removing the crap around it i got a frantic phone call form my mate saying his kombi had just been hit by a semi truck and it was a total wreck. So being the nice bloke i am(stop laughin!!!) i sold him the one i had just bought.....
