Other than the facts that Dante was suffering severly from scurvy when he dreamed up the Devine Comedy and levels of Hell and that it doesn't exist anyway...
I would say Level 6.

"Guarded by the Minotaur, who snarls in fury, and encircled within the river Phlegethon, filled with boiling blood, is the Seventh Level of Hell. The violent, the assasins, the tyrants, and the war-mongers lament their pitiless mischiefs in the river, while centaurs armed with bows and arrows shoot those who try to escape their punishment. High on Level 1 Virtuous Non- Believer....Well I'm interested in comparative religion....I think by answering positive to pagan....I instantly become a non-believer...this is so highly weighted to strong Catholic/Chrisian teachings!!!! :jesus
but seeing I also scored High On being Lustful (well duh!!) I'm sentenced to Level 2....I'm lustfully in limbo and loving it!!!! :thumb

Having studies dante in some depth here is the easiest was I can explain the nomenclature of the City of Dis.
The City of Dis actually represents all the levels from 6 to 9. In these levels the more serious sins are punished.
This is one of the names of Pluto, the classical king of the underworld. As he amalgamates classical and contemporary mythologies throughout the poem it can be understaood that Dis, for Dante, is king of the ammalgamated classic and christian hell. Therefore by continuing Dante's logic Dis is used to reckon both Lucifer and the lower circles of hell.
As anyone who has read the poem will know, the classical poet Virgil leads Dante on his journey through hell. Virgil made reference to Dis in his epic the Aenid.
So those who landed in circles 6, 7, 8 or 9 - you can be safe in the knowledge that you are within the well protected walls of the City of Dis. In the poem the demons guarding the gate would not even let Virgil and Dante enter (they have good taste). however, as anywhere you are never safe from god-botherers - for angelic messengers descended and threw the gates open for Dante and Virgil.
