cool VW book

I suspect many of you will have sent this before but I just found the coolest secondhand VW book. It is called "Volkswagen: A Week at the Factory" and is full of these really beautiful photo's that a guy called Peter Keetman took when he spent a week at Wolfsberg in 1953.

I really suggest that you keep an eye out for it if you are into ovals or split kombi's, just makes you drool looking at thousands of brand new cars rolling of the production line.

You might like to know, that I bought a new copy of that book 3 years ago from the USA... its Now out of print...
and a copy in New condition was worth around $130US....

A very good book... love all those guards... bonnets.. etc all stacked together...

Wow. I had no idea it was worth that much. I paid $20 but the cover is a bit faded.

Maybe it is my first "barn find" 😉
