Today a few members from Volksclub Bendigo (plus a couple of ringins) attended the Federation picnic held at the Marong show grounds.
Definitely the biggest picnic I've been to so far, its seems to get bigger every year. With over 500 cars in attendance, the day was a huge success, Dispite the rain trying to ruin things!

Great to see some pics of a few of the family cars together at the picnic, along with other VolksClub members cars, we miss all that being so far away up here. Your skis look great and good to see the roof racks on yours and Tegs cars. Good to see AJs' Desert Bay in there too.

On another note, when I was at high school I worked in a motor wrecker in Springvale. The bloke who ran the joint used to do a roaring trade in Tank Fairlanes.I think he sold the motors to the inboard speed boat guys. The bad news is we used to take the body shells to the tip and there was tthe biggest bulldozer on earth used to drive over and over the bodies until they were about 1ft high. (pre metric days).
