yeah, waste his time, just to piss him off. I've never got one like that, but once got a letter from the Espana Lotteria claiming that we won 1 million Euros in the lottery and that if we sent them our bank account details they would give us the money. So of course, I just handed over the bank account number, BSB and pin code. Nothing sus!:repuke

Alex Holzl ·

oh bugga... i guess ya didnt get ya money?

Just to sepecify, i did not give my account details to anyone - i was being sarcastic. and then one time i got that e-mail from the african president who was being overthrown and needed my bank account to keep his riches.

Bizarre ·

Where is Ebola Man when you need him!!! :P

Send him an e-mail and say you will sell it, but dont give him any deatails and lets see what the reply is like.

could be fun keeping him going, see how many e-mails he will send before you piss him off.

Cheers

Speaking of scams, I've had a stack of those 401 "I'm a Nigerian princess/prince/president with $40 million dollors to smuggle out of the country" if you give me your account details scams.

Of more concern, I've recently had two emails supposedly from ebay which tell me my account may have been used fraudulently and I need to go to a certain web page and enter my user name and password to verify that my account is not fraudulent, if not my account will be terminated. Now this email looks like a genuine ebay message and it would be easy for people to fall for it. My ebay toolbar popped up a message to say the message was not from ebay staright away, so I clicked the 'report' button and deleted the email.

heres one way to deal with it. send this back to them
Counselor of squeaky rubber ducks and reasonable thinking

How do I control my Enthusiam of another person joining our
Rubber Duck Club?!™

Dear Mr lousy git,
Realistically, instead of you sending me a special report, which if you are as
psychic as you think, you would know I was going to send this letter in return.
Don’t send me a bank card or master card or cheque, just cold hard cash (plus two rubber ducks)! In which for return you get...nothing! What a good deal!

In fact, I would really like to give you the pleasure of getting your Crud®
sent back to you. It’s kind of like waiting for someone to open a gift you have just given to them. You want them to see their suprise when they cut the ribbon and tear the paper off. That’s exactly how I’ll feel when you find your Crud® in this envelope.....Such a good feeling!

All my life I could see that some idiot would send their Crud® through the mail to me. I could sense that some people were not as smart as me, and couldn’t see a scam when it came. It’s like my personal psychic television.

At this moment I wish I blast some gas or get someone to pull my finger. Here’s why: Mr lousy git, what I’m seeing now and want you to know about right away, is that your life may soon take a sudden upswing after you send me lots of
money in cash (plus two rubber ducks)!

I realise news like this may shock and offend you. Fancy getting Crud® sent to me, you’ll say to yourself. That’s a perfectly Normal Reaction!

Let me assure you, sending us the money may....might get you into the Rubber Duck Club.™

But, Mr lousy git, It is YOU
that I want to guide and help you now!
(After you send us the money)

There are basically no rewards, because we are too cheap. Feel free to send
us the money.

If you don’t send the rubber duckies and the cash, don’t send us any more junk or rubbish, ‘cause we’ll send it back!

ronster ·

Canni. ·

or check out http://www.ebolamonkeyman.com/ its aim... to grab a picture of the scammer 😀

PurpleT3, if you are worried about whether or not they are real (i have had 2 of them aswell) you can copy and paste the link into your browser (DO NOT click on the link) check out the sight and its links to make sure it is ebay, and if you are certain it is safe thentype in your details (or surf to the spot through ebay main)

PurpleT3 ·

I assume all emails requesting me to enter any details are dodgy. I only ever enter usernames and passwords on sites I have navigated to directly. I was just curious as to what this dodgy site looked like, but when I tried it wouldn't work anyway.

I got one of those emails from ebay. It said something about needing to verify my account details. I don't have an account with ebay so I thought that it was suss right off !

baybuscamperkid ·

i just got a ripper. guy from Nigeria wanted to buy 60 of my shirts! not only did he go to the bother of navigating my site to choose the types of shirts he wanted, but instead of asking for my acount details, he was offering me his credit card! it was not until i had requested that he pay by western Union or money order rather then credit card that he backed off and called the deal off! hell of a big effort for a scam i reckon:o
