The Split window belonged to a Choker here in Melbourne. He used to own it thirty years ago, then again more recently. You can just see the tail of it in our signature at the other end of the three busses. I believe it has gone to a very good home up there now.

It was a great honour for me, to receive best restored bus>67 and Presidents choice. After all the hard work its like a pat on the back so a big thankyou to everyone.

something Just click about yesterday and now I feel like a stupid twat...
...I was sitting under the Klub tent/trap and this bloke came up to me and asked "is that your dub?" "yes" I said.
this guy asked"what are those things on the side?" I started tell this guy that their Pop-outs and that not many bugs have them and I got them off a guy on AVD forum(thanks Ali) , how much cool they make the car......yarda yarda yarda, so now, the day after, I walk out to close my roof and lock the bug up and I think see what the guy was asking about...the blue Breezies on the 1/4 windows......No wonder the guy gave me a weird look when I told him I paid $300 for them.

ha ha ha. you're not a twat rob - i can't ever remember anyone's name......and i sometimes even forget if i know people or not...........so i come off as a total ditz cause i just smile at everyone in case i might have met them before..........oh dear......i'm not really that dumb i just have trouble accessing all the different parts of my brain where i store the normal, socialable memories..............i sometimes even forget if i have read a book, or seen a movie, or own a cd, so i buy them/rent them and then get home and half-way through realise that i have already read it/seen it/ own it.
is that just me???????? or do toher people have this problem........:o

Hi there! to everyone talking about the blue and white beetle at the Action day.
My husband Tony and I have had the driving pleasure of our 1961 beetle for 18mths now ( sorry! definately NOT for sale). We have been to a few shows, this was the first we entered. Had a great day, sunburnt like everyone else. Looking forward to dubs by the pub next year. Sarah
