Power windows CHEAP!

Hi All,

Anyone interested in converting to power lift windows, you might want to check out this kit.

It cost me $285.00 inc gst to import. Thats about $200 cheaper than any other kit I found locally.

The kit fits flat glass doors (vw doors), and is doing a great job with my single piece glass conversion. Much better than the '67 regulators did.

Here's a link. The auto parts shop that is auctioning them runs a new item every week, or you can buy from the ebay store for an extra $10.

But do you have pics of how you mounted them in the doors and where you got clearance for the motors from the door panels and outer skins? I am very curious as I want to do similar.

Looks good... but first I'll have to replace my rubbers and runners, cos the windows jam when I wind them by hand 🙁
