3.2 litre twin engine Beetle. The body was made from fibreglass, mid mounted with a Porsche five speed box. Drank methanol and had a reputed 400 horses. Weighed in at 417kg. Porsche brakes and steering.

In its first race it came third behind a Ford GT 40 and a Lola? T70.

With Okrasa bits the engines ended up being 2.2 litres each. A 4.4 litre bug! Used 4 twin 45 Webbers to get the methanol in.

It never acheived any real success and all that remains now are photos.

Wonder how it works??? I'm guessing the crankshafts were connected together somehow??

My Sapnish is too poor to get that info from the article... it's there but very low tech.

Cool, I've seen pics in the past with 3 and 4 VW engines grafted together. Some people have too much time on there hands.
