Anyone going to fast fours jamboree this weekend

Anyone going to the fast fours and more rotaries than you can poke a stick at jamboree this weekend.
I'm going out Saturday if anyones gonna be there.

I know Rod and Pete will be there racing Rod's street driven 2276 1961 beetle. I was hoping to get out there some time sunday but not sure just yet.

I will be there both days. working both days, on the gates, lining up cars etc etc.

i wish i could be there!!! but i am too busy trying to get the daily driver kombi painted,lowered etc next year 🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁 hopefully then might have something to show/race

I heard a rumour from a Tow Truck driver I know that is taking some cars out there, that Qld Transport is setting up a full machinery crew to go through all the cars that show up to Willowbank..........If thats the case, there will be a lot of cars put off the road, and a lot of shitty people......

I have heard of that before to, thats what they said last year, but if they are going to do that, it will kill of events like this. I have heard of it happening to summer nats etc and alot of ppl get very annoyed as its targeting a group of ppl. I don't have a problem with them patrolling pulling over ppl speeding on the way there or back of even pulling up ppl doing burnouts etc, but to have a mass pull over is shit. and i know my car is to loud. might have to take the pajero out.

I am leaning towards bike week on the gold coast.

I've been to the last 9 jamborees, and I reckon they've gotten worse every year. More and more wankers, more and more riced out crap cars.

Sure some of the race cars are getting better and better, but the rest is getting worse. and I reckon it was better when it was a one day event so you got your money's worth.

And speaking of money, I used to get in for $5. Now it's $25 each. Me and my girlfriend is $50, and I only see half the events! :puke

Maybe I'm just being tight, maybe I'm just getting older and grumpier 😀

its getting like that. The only reason i go is to work. it was really bad last year and alot of really big ego's
