Its in great condition... garged most of its life by the look of it.. It said 1300cc but it should be 1600 Twin Port as its a 1303S "L" Beetle... I didn't think they sold them as 1300cc...
anyway still a good buy... doesn't look too damaged..

I think your right Lee (1600). thats what I was thinking by the engine number but thats off their web site. I will have a look when I get it home tomorrow. the cars go into lockdown after you bid...lol

The MacPherson struts are in the right spot but there is a small crease about an 1" in front of the left one. then about 3" forward of that its stuffed. but I will see tomorrow. 🙂

Looks like I'm gunna repair it.......😀 It is a big job but the car drives so well with only 47,000 on it. The car has been kept well before the hit and only a little rust starting to pop up (the size of a match head) below the back window. when I took the front fender off it all looked new (almost) the brake line clip was shining as was the strut bolts:kiss
so I will be looking for some parts in WA. I will post a list in buy and sell but this is what it needs (so far)
- bonnet
- LF fender
- LH head light glass
- Bumper and mounts
- nose clip
- LH bumper rubber

I have been buyin' from smash auctions for years...... and you do need to know what you are doing.
plus I think the law is a good thing, it stops the stolen cars being retaged.

This would have to be a good buy only a few $ for the parts to be painted and on the road .
