semaphores on splits

Can someone tell me what year they stopped putting semaphores in splittys?

The amber rear indicator/trafficator lense fitted to 60 and 61 Australian buses. This lense was made by Hella and is unique to Oz and Italian buses. It filled the gap between the end of semaphores and the start of the oval shaped combined amber/red lense seen on all European buses from 62 on.
