Can some one please remind me how you replace a set of hand brake cables in a 63 bug, I don't have the car here and I'm going to do it for a friend on the weekend.馃檪

PS.....She has one of the nicest bug's I have seen in a long time and I'll try to remember to take a pic馃檪

loose wheel nuts

jack up car and put on jack stands

rattle n remove rear brake drum and wheels

undo 13mm bolt on inside of backing plate.

use pliers to pull cable end off brake arm

sometimes there a little short so u have to yank on them with long nose plies when fitting to the hand brake cable.

U might need someone else to fit the nut and its a good idea if you remove one of the seats in order to fit cables to hand brake lever.

I suspose it took me about 2 hours today to fit my new ones,
