I really really really want to buy a radio controlled new beetle like the one that was raffled at Valla.

I must buy this in order to race my hubby's radio controlled commodore to prove once and for all that VW's rule !!!!!

I have hunted high and low, the only thing that come close was an off road yellow baja new beetle (not really want I wanted !)shop keepers aren't very helpful ! Does anyone know where I can get one ?????

I saw a really cute purple radio controlled NB cabrio. It even has seat belts so that you can strap barbie in. It is sold through Toys R Us in the US. Can you believe that they won't ship to Australia ???

Maya we you get yours we can have a race !!!!!!!

If I find one I will let you know !

Here's an idea. Get a Barbie Beetle, rip the guts out of it, then bastradise it and place it on an RC chassis. Or better still, take a gel mould of a Barbie Beetle.

Squiz.....

Iam sure u should be able to get the plastic shells for the RC cars and then just buy the car.

Try Tamiya. I'm sure they do a 1/10 RC new beetle.

ok i looked up tamiya.com....basially they did do a R/c version of an old beetle, the new beetle and a kubelwagen. but all are now discontinued...so try all your hobby shops to see if they've got one left, lying round...or what you could do is go out and ask them the availability of a polycarbonate shell of a VW beetle...cuz my brother used to work in a hobby shop for 7 years...and in that time he basically said there were so many polycarb shells on the market u could almost get what ever u want and fit it to any road car with the same or similiar wheel base.

kubel
