I have a mate of mine going to Germany next week, I think Essen .. I have asked him to get me VW stuff .. But what would you suggest that I ask him to get me that I cant get here in Oz .. I have a Type 3 and an Oval if that helps ya for ideas.

not much mate as the VW stuff over there is twice the price as here ... and u have todig for it...
I think the VW museum has a parts shop that is reasonable priced...
But wot do u need is the question.

i like the helphos swivel light that sticks to windscreen via suction.
Drove from Melb to Bathurst in 66 in a 55 Bettle orig 6 volt of corse and used it as a driving light
fab .....due to chrome reflector -wired to high beam
the light pulls off instantly from the suctin lens and can be pokedout the window to seek house numbers or blind carjackers!!! ha ha

I have just come back from Germany.
Most parts there we can get here.....they are dearer.
I got for my bug & kombi the D plate with the years on them..
We don't have them here so they look great...
