with a little work they would fit IDF manifolds

yes correct , need to remove a small amount in the center of the IDF manifolds , have done this in the past .

Are the carbs a pattern that suits a dcn manifold?

They are the same as IDF's
The olny difference is the pump actuator hangs down low and you need a clearance between the 2 "throats" of the manifolds.

by the way - for anyone that wants these
There is a place in the states called Doc & Cy's (800) 950 0356
They sell rebuild kits for these for about US$15
That is a very good price even including a rebuild kit from the states that would cost no more that the exchange rate plus less than $15 shipping with no duty or GST.
Someone in teh know will buy

If I didnt already have a set of 40IDF webers in the shed I'd be keen.
But I never got the webers running as it was anyways !!
