I am happy to build it world wide and include pers web pages as well. As long as teh info is being sent and I don't have to go collecting it doesn't take much effort and I think it woudl be worth it ..

I have started adding them now. You will see a link on the header bar that says OZ VW Business directory. Click on that and you will see them. I have put some more thought into it and will be making it a full online links area covering most things VW. I know there is some very good ones out there like www.clubvw.org.au. The difference being that I will happily add businesses that do not have a website because they are often the ones which are harder to find.

I have begun to build a shopping style cart of VW websites. Why you ask ?? Well you can then add all the businessses to teh cart and do a print of them to keep off line, or you can search for specific businesses etc etc .
Feed back would be great. I am only just comming to terms with cgi script
All the parts [mechanical] I have bought from this company have been European made. They are normally at Nambucca-Valla Park with great specials.

Their website doesn't seem to exist, but thanks for the info. I'll post details on another WA place as soon as I find Kurt's business card (but if he can't get it, it's good to have another contact,) and another place in freo does good stock mechanical work, but the other place I know of in the West I wouldn't want to reccomend to anyone... What do people think: they carry a good range of parts, but the law prevents me from telling you how bad their mechanical work is?

air cooled gearboxes including full diff setup, straightening and rebushing
con rods, line boring crancases,rebushing kingpins, testing diesel injectors
and seting camber on link pin front ends. i will be offering exchange king
pin units and kombi ball joint torsion arms. hopefully long motors and
gearboxes for all models as well.

Thread resurrection time!
Is there an updated thread like this that I haven't discovered or can we start a new one to keep the idea up to date.
I know that many of these businesses have either moved, changed hands, stopped working on "old" stuff or retired/gone out of business.
There are a fair few new ones out there.
Thoughts?
