Would you believe I got a reply!!! A 4 page quote.
To hire a plasma screen and a stand to put it on will cost nothing more than $528.
Guess I wont be needing that screen so badly after all.

It's not that unusual for high-end rentals to only hire equipment to businesses.

They wont allow projectors in the hall for some reason. There's also a limit on the number of powerpoints, can only have 4. Doesnt say what you can plug into them though. I can run 4 of the biggest fridge freezers, but cant run 5 calculators. Stupid. Its at the uni though, and finding someone who could add up watts and amps would be extremely difficult I guess.
