That lovable Volkswagen, Herbie, returns for more madcap adventures as he helps a little old lady defy a business baron's attempts to raise the world's highest building on her property. Grandma Steinmetz lives in an old firehouse in San Francisco in the middle of a building site which boasts a beautiful view of the bay. Greedy developer Alonzo A. Hawk sends his empty-headed nephew Willoughby Whitfield to convince Mrs. Steinmetz to sell, but he's not quite prepared for what Mrs. Steinmetz's over-protective VW, Herbie, has in store for him. (Includes Tattslotto at approximately 8.58).

I thought it was a documntary when i was a kid :thumb

Same for Queenslanders. Better find a video tape!

omg 5 mins to go im messageing mum to tape it for me cause dad nicked off with my VCR to bundaberg!

:cry:cry:cry:cry:cussing Its not on in WA:cry 🙁

Hey Hey, Its not on in tassie LOL🙁 well gonna have to watch toy story 2

I'm watching it but not taping it, except for the last 20 minutes because i had to take my sister to a party... going to watch that bit now!! 🙂 🙂 :party

last 20 minutes is awesome, huge bug convoy. did anyone notice a replica of my oval, its the last car hobbling along the road 🙂

Had no chance of getting the tin-lids to bed once they found out it was on......BUT IT'S OVER NOW!! HA HA HA [dad stikes again!]

Gotta love that last one who joins the affair off the junk pile! Wish my second beetle had some 'get-up-and-go' like that one, instead of just sitting there and whining about needing an engine....

that last beaten up bug was great. the last bit with the convoy was my favorite.

My kids thought it was fantastic and want to know if my Vern can do things just like Herbie.......of course he can !

wasnt it good to watch,my family thought i was mad 😉
wife says she will buy me the set on dvd:thumb

I loved it and will be putting my order in for the DVD set as well.

I bought the boxed set a couple of weeks ago (I think around $75 from HMV in the Queen St Mall) I even had a none VW mate come around one evening thinking we would watch a latest release DVD and I kicked off with Herbie- to his credit he watched it and we didnt end up watching the real ones that I had hired

I got really excited when I saw the ad for it - then erealised i have it on dvd anyway 🙂 hehehe

I bought my son the complete DVD collection from Target about 5 months ago for $60.00. It was the best money ever spent, he's watches the whole series atleast a dozen times. My wife hates it and I love it.

There's nothing better than a 2 year old with good looks style and great ve taste.lol.

Poor little fella if only he knew what was ahead for him. The life of a vee dub nut.lol.

Start'em young I say.

Yup "

I had better go and buy the set for my girls ......not that I wanna watch them

I might even drop some hints for my upcoming b'day
