I got it tonight, its a 71 or 72 beetle, Nick will probley explain more about it then me, coz there are a few confusing things on it. but its kermit green coloured (aparently thats called avocado green if you wanna be technical). but i love him and i have already named him Kermit! SO HAPPY!

its either a 72 or 71 superbug......i wrote down the vin (and at a glance it looked like a 71 VIN) but i lose the peice of paper. however it does have the headlight dimmers on the steering coloumn so i dont know. it has had an engine transplant at some stage to somehting much more gutless than the 1600 twin port it would have had.....its a single port engine but i dont know what it is. however my engine from my spare parts superbug will go in there and give it the superbug power it should have. it has some small areas of rust in non cruicial places (nothing serious) and origional seats and steering wheel (one of the plastic ones). the body is straight and all the chrome trim is in place with no dents. the only thing i could find broken was the little thingy u pull out to open the fuel cap was broken. Eirinn is very happy with the car and i think it is a fine little automobile.😎

yep its got a couple of nicks in the paint and one crack that i could see but yes it is a very nice looking superbeetle. the bumpers have been painted black.

Got to say you have good taste in cars, go the supers. It looks like a 71, 2 vents in the engine lid and it looks like the wipers are on the dash, 72s had 4 vents and the wipers on the column.

its a 71 but someone has put a 72 steering column assembly in it so it has the other flicker on the outer side of the column but it doesnt do anything. the headlights and wipers are on the dash.
