Mikki,
I would expect to pay anywhere between 20k to 50k depending on what 'good' condition is.
Make sure its a real one, I've heard stories of roof sections being welded in.
Make sure he throws a bottle of Windowlene in as well 馃檪
Cheers

It's not worth anything, if he wants more than $2k for it give me his phone number and I'll tell him to pull his head in... :thumb

Is $30,000 to much for a good Rhd 23 window non step through?
The bus is very orignal
Thanks

I reckon that's a fair price. THere is one here (green with white top, its not the same one, is it?) which the onwer wanted mid to high $30s for it. Just very original non restored one

Depends ofn how much you got and how many there are on the market....
How many 23 windows have you seen for sale lately ??

I saw a beautiful white over red 23 window in tweed heads about 3 months ago, completely original according to the owner....he told us that he had been offered $40k for it but it was not for sale.

Depends how much you want it. Deluxe prices are high at the moment, in the Uk it seems to be 10k ($25,000)plus for a good one. If you don't mind LHD you can get a cheaper one out of the states. I personally wouldn't pay what people are asking but plenty of others would.

Be very careful. There was a green and white one going around a few years back. Was a roof section welded on. Guess you really need to check the Vin to be sure. Then again thats not that hard to dodgy up either.

i would spend 30k on a samba... no different to spending 30k on a tarago... except in another 10yrs whent he taraga'10 and the samba 60k.
but yeah make sure you check teh details. i remember there was a roof section in gosford for many years... was so close to it to my splitta.

Whats the chassis number on a samba?
How do they differ from std buses
Thanks

I think the real 21 and 23 windows have these special swaged panels on the underside which covers the floor structure
pmgbus 路
chassis no goes 2445......, should have body tag behind seat or rivetted to side of fresh air vent in roof, check to see if they cut the hole for the clock< belly pans could be fitted by anyone, there are a couple of grafted 23's around so check carefully, ie look up inside the quarter panel in the engine bay for signs of welding. as far as $$$ goes, 10-15k unrestored, $25-$50k restored seems to be the current market price. $30k for a genuine tidy bus sounds good.
