Well, since my Celica is currently sitting somewhere without an engine while I have a slight legal battle, I'm driving the dub around (finally learnt to drive with 3 pedals too!) And after about 2 weeks of driving I had my first real dub moment this morning on the way to work. I really feel like one of the krew now.

Was it one of those defining moments when due to too much right pedal, wet road and a curve, you suddenly find yourself looking back at the oncoming traffic?
or
where a good looking member of the opposite sex looks at the car then you with a wicked grin 😉
or just that smug feeling you get from driving a car like a VW that no one else gets 😀

i like the looking back at the traffic the most, makes me feel special driving my beetle knowing i could die at any second......
and that warm feeling you get when you go flying past another vw and get the friendly wave.....

It is pretty cool driving something that everybody secretly wants but are too conformist to drive ........
I enjoy seeing people getting joy out of seeing my car on the road , little kiddies punching each other ..... yeah gotta love a car that promotes people to thump the crap out of each other !:thumb
