I really hope no-one has forgotten about this site. It could be very useful for those of you that don't have your own webspace to use...

So how does it work? How do you post pictures on it, do you have to create a link so viewers can automatically view your pics from this gallery on your post. Pam

what you do is click 'register' on the top right hand side of the screen. create a user name (and a password will be sent to your email). I suggest using the same as your avd one...

then you can login into the gallery website. and if you go to the 'vw events' folder for example, there are some folders there that say 'no highlight'. you click on one of those and in the top right of screen it says 'admin options'. click that and a little drop down menu says add photos. then you can upload them to the events folder.

NOTE: to whoever moderates this gallery, can you please add rights for people to add/create folders and to upload pics in the other directories. otherwise we can't use it...

Yeah - that would be me. Let that after 35 minutes of stuffing around tryng to figure how to put pictures up. Then I realised there were hardly any there in the first place so mabey only those who have tried for an hour can do it.

yeh. all that needs to happen is for rights to be given to all users to create folders to uload photos to.

(or just a heap of folders created so users can fill them as needed.)

every one can upload files to the event folder now.

But the members rides folder doesn't work.

All you have to do is register your self
Then click admin options
then click new nested album
then click admin options again
then click add photo.

And if you want to let everyone ad pics to your folder you created then you click
Admin options again
then click album permissions
and then click on each option you want.

If you want to name your album
eg: Valla2004
you click
admin options again
then click properties
and again scroll throgh the options changing each one s you want.

Its simple guys.

what about the avatar folder...

does that work now as well???

Hey Zac why dont you try photobucket for your picture hosting and Avatar stuff

yeh i don't know how made the forum orgininally, but someone has to be able to change the rights for the other directories and stuff.

i personally don't need to host stuff, i was just going through my favourtites and thought that others may be able to make use of it.
