Just got a Sony Cyber shot digi camera and have been trying to look at the piccies on the ole work 'puter
The Sony Picture Package disc has been successfully loaded.
The thing is ....its telling me I need a high speed port !
What the hell is that ?

I have 4 of the mothers(usb ports) in the back of the 'puter
I may have to wait till Monday when the geeky IT dept come back on line.

You can run them on an older slower port... I've just put a faster usb card in...really not much difference
Isn't it letting you continue without the faster usb

it should automatically detect the card...
what operating system are you using..
and when you've plugged the cord in to both the computer and the camera, turn the camera on, with it set to the mode that you would usually view the pictures in.

they are quite cool arent they jenz. peter you sound like me im the one that if you cut me off in sydney ill get quite abusive if its required but most of the time im placid. i think its the no alcohol is starting to get to me :blush
