I'm after what I paid for it $600 + postage.

It is hard/sad but after you've sat in your bug with it folded back, mmm so sweet it is.
maybe don't watch them cut it into your roof

Rob, you just put the frame together and measure it, but i was going to get it fitted buy profesionals if i kept it, safest way i recon

RobNJo got it fitted professionaly for $80.

It wouldnt be hard to do yourself, basically you get the shape of it by assembling it outside of the car, measure it a zillion times, cut a hole. The rails have an upper and lower part, and the skin of the roof sits inbetween them. The upper and lower parts fix to each other with screws. it basically clamps the roof.

It is a lot lot easier to install than a Golde Sunroof clip, which requires a lot of welding, beating, painting etc.

hey ruckus, I'd get somebody "professional" to put it in.
VW's aren't thin shit like Ricers,and you could realy make a meal of it.
it isn't just a square hole, it rounded in the corners and this needs to be precise for the frame..."ah shit, wheres that water comming from?!?"

I fitted one in my car, same as this one. It's great. Fitted it myself. No leaks or anything !!!
I'd buy one again if i had something else to put it in...................
