I have seen pics done on bug selecta on the forum

how do you save the pics off bug selecta?

I can't figure it out.

hit the print screen button then open a drawing application such as paint and click paste 馃槈 hope that helps :bounce

tried that,
managed to get it to save as a printer file,
but then I couldn't get ti to open up in Paint (windows ascessory)

oh nah have bus-selecta on screen do what you want to the car then hit "print screen" then open up paint and hit "paste" then click file and the "save as" and rename it the under the name option select "jpg" or jpeg.

that way you can open it when ever you want it paint, and jpegs have a small file size so you should be able to post it up here 馃槈

Hit, alt + 'print-screen'

Open M$ Paint or another graphics package.

Click on edit > Paste

There you go.

OK, someone help me....I'm gonna assume there is a program somewhere that enables you to colour your bugs, etc and import them elsewhere....is that correct? Any details? Is it bugs only?

www.busselecta.com allows you to create a ride and then you can print the screen and edit the image in a program like photoshop which is what i did to create the above bug with hoodjacks.

the ragtop was borrowed from the kombi one. and the empi badge is just an image i found on the net and cropped and added to the side.

make a kombi the same colour as your beetle and make it a rag top then cut and paste the ragtop from the kombi onto your beetle....with a bit of cropping and mucking around i got it to fit pretty nicely.

I hope that is a combination of an early notch and a split. I hate to think your were cutting up anything less than the rarest and most sought after of VWs.

while your at it why don't add a whaletail, some torana tail lights and a water cooled jap motor.

you'll have the purists seeing red in no time. 馃榾

yeah pete. teh blue one, was an early split beetle... say 52, then i jsut need to match from the period. so grafts, all OG of course, were taken from barndoor and early notch.
no jap motors... got keep the period and style.馃槈

might be interesting fitting a type 4 engine in it as i would have it as a flat engine and i dont think u could fit it very well.......but then i spose u couldnt fit a flat type 3 engine with out mods either.......

hmmmmm kombi rear end aye..........mine used a modified square back panelvan type 3 rear end grafted onto the beetle body. but this is an interesting idea.......and i could buy the rusty shell off a fella up the road when its stripped for cheap......

i just made this its the revised 2nd edition of project kikko!note the flashy 76 logo, personalised door and bathurst globes! as well as wanky neons (eew spraypaint)

hehehe i reckon i dun a good job for a bloke whose art teacher wrote in his report 'daniel displays no talent in art whatsoever... i recommend his immediate change of courses'. and that is a quote with no exaggerations!
