Parts chasing from Cairns to Sydney

Is there any VW salvageyards or places to find parts for Aircooled vw's in the Cairns to Sydney area??
Looking for Safariwindows splitbus...type 3 badges...++++
Will be in the area from 11.nov to 8.des
What about the Gold Coast Dub Club 2004 Show and Swap 14 Nov. Any chance finding some goodies there??

Cairns to Sydney is about 3500km!

And the parts will end up 20000km away🙁

Well it's quite a distance ...but we are here for almost a month on vacaitio ; not here only for the parts chasing.and will be driving that distance this time.
Thouht it would be nice to kill some of the time with our VW hobby
We're used to long distances i Norway 😉

So not to happy for foreign partschasers though?
I'm NOT talking about cleaning the area completely for VW parts;filling up a 40 fot container or so..
just some minor parts.

your not the only one you and about 5000 other people ....

dont think you will find much these days.... lots of luck most wreckers have sent the VWs to the metal crusher

You wont find a set of safaris in any salvage yards in Oz, they have all been taken overseas already, afraid your A BIT LATE.

Yep tehre will be heaps of stuff there but make sure yr there EARLY before 6.00 am and check out the people coming into the event
