what is the more visually appealing Kombi? is it the beautiful splits of old or the Phat Bays?
i myself prefer the bay windows. its my belief that a kombi should be PHAT, and nothin looks fatter than a bay window, lowered, etc. so theres my vote. feel free to give reason to your vote as well.

as for the actual poll, looks like splits have taken a narrow lead with 44.44%, bays a close second with 37.04%, 18.52% of the voters are retarded, but they still have the sense not to pick new kombi!

i have owned a few bays and just the one split, but for me you cant beat a split with safaris westy racks and dropped on its guts. i guess the price you pay for a split and the amount of features splits get in different mags says it all

splits are a beautiful car no doubt, but just like the new Crysler Crossfire they dont look as good in teh flesh as they do in pics cos they just look too small. Bays on the other hand have nicely underrated style and can look nice and big and phat without trying, so i go the bay (mostly cos i got one🙂 )

looks like theres a clear trend being formed here, with over half the voters picking the splits.
its good to see that no one has picked new kombi. in fact, more people would prefer to cut their... er... appendages off (the blank squares) than drive new kombi! great work forum!

On visual appeal alone, I've voted for a split, but as far as daily driver's are concerned, I'll go the bay everytime; I just can't imagine how I'd feel if I ever wrote off a split, dinging the bay is bad enough!! Bays are a lot easier to replace, bigger inside, more durable and better designed for today's driving conditions. That's not to say I wouldn't do a 'Desert Split' one day if the resources are available...

slpits look the best in my opinion
however as daily driver i prefer my bay, thats not to say i dont wake up everyday and regret selling my splitty - it was immaculate, in british racing green and cream.....mmmm
