It was an awesome night....lots of dubbs turned up...and ones some of us had never seen before....

I took some pics but it was tood dark for the flash to be effective so gave up....pity cos there were some very nice rides there

Here's what I got...Bone Collectors ghia is there....nice dash and steering wheel...the rest isn't bad either...left hand drive....very cool

Who's red beetle was this...very nice...never did catch up with the driver to find out

Well it's was a great turn out by all. 44 cars turned up to cruise down Chaple street and enjoy a drink at the Elsternwick pub. Freaked the coppers out and showed the Rice Burners and the BMW set the way to drive. WITH CLASS AND STYLE. Keep and ear out for the next twilight cruise the night before the Day of the Volkswagen. All details will be on this forum soon.

Thanks for the effort everyone put in. I had a great night and saw some awsome rides. Also thanks Nathan for getting me there. I still get lost driving to the corner store in Vic.lol.

The Vic scene is a bit different to the NSW scene. But I think I can get used to it.lol.

Definately bring your dub no matter what condition it's in next time 😉 The more dubs at the cruise the better. We just love seeing 40 plus cars turn out just to socialize and have a good time talking to mates and checking out other rides.

Yep there is a cruise before "day of" for visitors and local Vee Dub nuts. See upcoming events or click on link below in my signature.

Can anyone tell me where I would be able to get some of those big rubber feet that are on some of those metal roofracks in the posted pics? And the clamps as well.I've got a rack but none of the hardware.

Ah, there's me baby on the forum again. I never get sick of seeing my KG on the net.

Some of the rides there were off there heads. The real stand out for me was the tubbed T3 Notch with 295's on the rear. As paulie would say " fully sick mate".
