I'm just interested to see how healthy people are. I'm a 20 ciggs a day guy and a self confessed ex cone head. But I wish I could ( job dosen't allow it).

dont take up smoking..................... ! i used to smaoke for 4 years and stopped last thursday. cold turkey cos im allergic to patches and Zyban (the no smoking drug) stopped me sleeping for 5 days. its really fing hard. i cracked today and bought a pack of ciggies and a lighter and had 2 puffs of one ciggie and then through the whole packet away. i started crying so i rang my mum and had a good cry to her. it was a bit embarrassing cos i was in the middle of the shopping centre.

DONT SMOKE!!!! (its too expensive) and it makes you smell funny.

if you want a cigarette with taste... try a sampoerna or a gudang (clove cigarettes)
but dont try too many, one is equivalent to 4 cigarettes.
and they are HEAPS bad for you (but then again so is running out of petrol in the middle of rush hour in bumper to bumper brisbane traffic on the thursday before good friday... which was the last time i smoked one)
they have sugar-coated butts and taste GOOOOOOOD!

im not condoning smoking btw... just in the same way im not condoning running out of petrol.

in both cases its cheaper and better for you if you just dont do it 😀

I use to smoke clutch but now that is all fixed i try and smoke rubber and end up smoking another gearbox DOH!!!

My addiction is sampoerna...the mild ones...clove ciggies....I didn't smoke or drink beer until I was 39....was travelling in India and it was part of the social scene of the group I was with...plus I was going through a marriage crisis....amazing how a thing like smoking seems to help at the time....sucking your emotions in...still doing it...

I'd given up ciggies for a few months and my son came back from Indonesia (several years ago now) with some clove ciggies for me and I got hooked again...can't smoke straight tobacco they taste foul....but yes...am addicted...wish I wasn't but i am....I do love the sweet taste on the lips of the clove oil....and have my Asian dealer in the city who I get them cheap from....ARGH!!!! Not good I know...

I think we can all cope with hours of not smoking do to work regulations and bans in venues which is good.....and we can usually discipline ourselves when around non smokers n not inflict passive smoking on others...at least withdraw ourselves outside for a quick smoke after a meal...but I do hate evangelists who are usually ex smokers giving you the speil on the dangers of smoking....I was a nurse for so long...and saw so many people dieing of non smoke related illness it's not funny....nurses and paramedics...or people who do customer service tend to be smokers....not all but there is a big trend...

If you have a family history cancer then don't smoke ...you are pushing fate... other research tends to be a bit spurilous and media hyped...but yes not good all the same....

Fleur and I used to smoke a pack of Bank or Port Royal tobacco between us each month.

Then my brother in law who also smoked rollies showed us his tongue and the cancer on it which was to be cut out in a few days, and we freaked and threw the stuff in the bin.

That was about 3 years ago and never touched since. We were not heavy smokers, only a few ciggies a week, so it was easy, especially after seeing that cancer tongue.

I have a friend who smokes no shit of a lie, a pack of Holiday 1's a day. That is 50 smokes. He told me last week that he can't help himself and is getting up to 1 and a half packs a day. Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaark thats getting to 70 smokes a day.

Back to what you were saying jenz58, im a nurse and so many nurses smoke its really hard at work, cos i quit on thursday. smoking seems like a job prerequisite if you want to do anything medical. But i am trying to get into the paramedics (hopefully) and i needed to stop so i could get my fitness up to pass the fitness test. now my new addiction is the gym, going everyday since thursday (how long will that last?)

i dont smoke but Halfzwares shag would be drum, dark blue packet. ive got to sell the stuff at work. i cant stant the smell of stocking the ciggie cabinet when ive got a headache or something its terrible and white ox jesus that stuff is strong enough through the packet u wouldnt need to smoke it just take off the wrapper and hang it up as an air -defreshener.

although if i did smoke i think i would smoke port royal roll your own.....rum and wine flavoured tobacco.......well it smells nice lol
