robnjo 路

it shouldn't of sunk as the hulls have 12 compartments ????

pyr0 路

how does one manage to flip a boat while its in the water :duh

robnjo 路

its called a camper-craft/ small house boat 22x9 foot.
as to flipping it, I'm not sure ...havn't do it before
:puke

VolksFolks 路

bloody hel rob, thats soo not cool, hope all is ok, chin up mate

VWFREAK 路

That sucks. I think someone is playing a bloody nasty joke on you.

My oldman had the same thing happen to his 16ft tinny. Except a bunch of kids on school holidays drilled holes in it.

Hope she fixes up alright.:cry

zac_smits 路

at least it didn't float away....

Robo 路

Buggar!
Have ya found out how it happened yet?

MUD BASHING ANYONE ?? 路

Thats not a good look boats are ment to be up the other way and if somone is playing around be sure to bash some heads together and drill holes in them!:vader

Anthiron 路

thats not good rob.:o i hope you can salvage something.

robnjo 路

well just go back,it cost $110 for the crane, not much damage.
hmmm, motor?? hosed it down, pulled the plugs out and turn the motor over afew times. by this stage it was dark so sprayed shit loads of WD in the pots and put the plugs back in but then some wires shorted out in the forward controls...crap, so I had a beer.
hosed out the inside and out.
2 big battery stuffed
will see tomorrow about the rest
...good thing I got a new boat at the start of the year,I've had the house boat since 91 so is a bit Sad
Rob:beer:beer:beer馃檨:beer:beer:beer

pyr0 路

lucky you were in it asleep when it happend :o

penguin 路

Hmmmm
hope its a bit better now you have seen it in daylight. Guess the motor will need lots of TLC to stop the tinworm. Got any hint as to why yet?

robnjo 路

Why?...well it looks like some work we did on the front deck about 8 months ago, where we put a new floor on the old one and glassed it down, think that we didn't need the deck port/inspection holes(4) if we glassed it air tight???
with to main hulls under the boat, each hull having 5 compartments, the front two on one side filled over time somehow...

*Q?* one of the boat batteries were fairly new and under water for about 20 hours.........can I tip out the old acid and put in new acid?
my thinking is that it was totaly up-side down and no if any salt water got in it should be ok , maybe flat but ok. ????
