I was thinking of doing a cruise in meeting people in the east then collecting people from the west on the M5 then cruise down to Livo from there

Yeah costa its good to be back. Been restoring my Pop's LX Torana and its finished, just some minor cosmetic stuff to go. We still have my wifes '68 auto bug, not real pretty.....thin paint and a few bumps but real rust free and mechanically sound.
To the rest of the cruise group, may I suggest we meet at the BP servo on King Georges road just after the intersection of Punchbowl road in Wiley Park (when heading towards M5). There is also a Burger King or Hungry Jacks there (cant remember which one it is). Let me know what time......To be at Liverpool by 8.30am we would need to leave Wiley Park by 7.45am I think ?????? so maybe meet at 7.30am with a 15min window to allow some time for a chat or whatever.

Its a bit dodgy to stop on the M5, it may even be illegal. There is a huge stop between Bexley Road & King Georges road, that might be a better location for meeting. The RTA use it soemtimes for truck checking.

Get from punchbowl road to the kind georges road and down that and onto the M5 pull over next to an emergency phone just there and wait for the boys 2G
i suggest we meet at the RTA or something after you hop off the freeway and turn right and go straight to the m5, if u want costa can call me and we can be ready to roll as you drive past...... either that or we'll cruz down the morebank road and you can get off there and pick us up..... let me know costa where u plan to drive so i can work out what us boys will do

On the way to the M5 coming south from the M4 or the north coast you will come through Homebush / Flemington and then Wiley Park. Just after the intersection of Punchbowl road and King Georges road is A BP servo and Burger Place (Hungry Jacks or Burger King, I always get the two confused) I suggest we meet there about 7.30am and leave about 7.45am to get to Liverpool about 8.30am. It is a short trip further down King Georges road to join the M5 and head to Liverpool. See attatched map. VW Fool, head to Homebush then follow the signs to M5.
