Can someone do me a huge favour (idiots guide)

Could someone please scan the contents pages out of the front their John Muirs how to keep your volkswagen alive manual and email it too me.

I am currently looking to get a copy of this book myself - is this (how to keep yr vw alive) also referred to as "idiot's guide" - which I've also heard about - didn't realise they were one and the same (are they??)

the full title of the book is 'how to keep your volkswagen alive, a manual of step by step procedures for the compleat idiot' so yeah they are the same book... occaisionally they come up for sale on ebay...other places you can get it from in melbourne is borders borkstores... the technical bookshop (in the city...opposite the state library) and there is another auto manual bookshop in camberwell..

The late John Muir was NOT a mechanic... He just wrote idiot books... He says automatic chokes help wear the engine out.
Would You rather keep revving your cold engine up until it gets warm or use an automatic choke....
I would rather use a choke anytime....
Pressing the accelerator down squirts fuel into the engine [via the accelerator pump] and in My opinion is much worst than an auto choke....

There is an idiots manual on ebay at present... was around $20 yesterday and I think it finishes tomorrow...
I personally don't like the book, I have read it, but I have 10 other manuals to keep Me busy....
One book that should have been in every glovebox is the Haynes- Volkswagen Beetle Owners handbook & servicing guide...

I agree Lee that some of his opinions sound a bit off, especially in light of more modern technologies, easy fixed tho, just don't pay attention to em.
And yes the Haynes manuals are a must have, I need to get one, my mate took his back off me..
