I need to get rid of some weight on the motor so Iam looking at the alternator bracket any ideas of making it light ? I drill some holes in it , but looking for a better option .

I have found the STI subaru has an light weight bracket must be 1kg less weight !

Apart from chopping it in half as you do not need a/c or power steer, you could drill holes in it..thats about it.

I did that matt it was still too heavy , get hold of the STI one very light and you can still drill holes in it .

Do you have the part number for the STI one? Strikes me as something that could be hard to find.
