buzzbug ·

i think it is that time again

lets do the poll.

VolksFolks ·

k, you do it,.......

ancientbugger ·

I know Emlyn played for Liverpool but can't remember who Arafat played for? Seriously though you've got to wonder, the Israelis claim the Palestinians are terrorists but that is exactly the way they got the country themselves!

waltermitty ·

The Israelis are terrorists thier secret service the mossad are the most accomplished assasins of all time. They still have UN sanctions against them after nearly 25 years that they ignore , the same sanctions that The US used as an excuse to raid Iraq the first time.

We can only hope that the Palestinians have someone with the paitience and forsight of RINGO STAR! sorry couldmnt help myself well Arrafat he does look like ringo. LoL Mitchell

squizy ·

We mustn't forget Emelyn also played for Wolves. Helped us win our last piece of "real" silverware in 1980 [promotion and Sherpa Van don't count]. It was also the only thing he couldn't bring to Liverpool's cabinet in his era - a local trophy.

A true gentleman and colourful character.

Squiz.....

VolksFolks ·

well said squizy, and yeh i remember now when he played for wolves as i was sorta a suporta, i was only a kid, also i remember andy gray played for wolves around the same time, mmm but i canna remember who yasser played for?

Andy

57kombi ·

With all the foreginers that the English teams are bringing in now He could have played for any team, and proberbly did.

Cheers
Dave

jenz58 ·

Well he is death heaps of stories...yesterday officials were trying to deny he was near death...

Well I did admire the man some years ago...I thought he was trying harder than the Israelis for peace in the region...Pity they hang on way past their use by date...or kept there as a porn....The Pope should have retired years ago but can't....F#%!K.....I don't know how they are keeping him on his feet...it's cruel

They do all belong to the land over there...it shouldn't be divided.....they all came from the same family centuries n centuries ago....Religion again used to destroy peace from all sides.....Stubborn pig headed control freaks

thats the biggest piece of US propaganda:cussing

RIP Arafat

Starbug ·

its sad to see a leader that has done so much for the good of their country pass away.
we can only hope his replacement can do as much good as he had.

RIP

Spook ·

What good? He set the cause of his people back with every move he made.

It was once written that he never missed an opportunity to miss an opportunity.

HotRodMatt ·

The one good thing to come of Arafat's death is the opportunity for the Israelis to abide by their legal and moral duties and make at least some concessions witout losing face. After all the Palestinian's claim to their own stolen land is legitimate.

VolksFolks ·

HOW much was Arafat worth, $100's of millions of dollars, now thats a good paypacket for a political leader, i say give it back to the people ay!

Gibbo ·

Yasser Arafat has been found on his death bed wearing a Newcastle United
Shirt, Tottenham Hotspur shorts, Lazio socks and a Rangers Scarf.

A Palestinian spokesman explained that it had always been his dream to
be buried in the Gazza Strip.

GL1972 ·

I'm sure he'll return as the head Dalek! Or maybe he is with Elvis now?
