Just got a call from Roy at ClassicVW(pacific), hes sending my order on Monday, so I should have my stuff by mid week.
I'll post some pics of me fitting it to the bus,

I think it might be better if I do it myself as I have to drill about 200 holes in the body to fit it.
I know to use masking tape and a very sharp pilot drill.
But if I mess up I have no one to blame.

Also I dont know which insert to use I ordered the red to go with the interior, but Roy had bought some from a dealer here for his bus and he ordered red but they sent pink????
Would pink suit my bus???
I dont live near Sydney for the Mardi Gras??

I used to love doing that in the panel shop...tee hee.
Can i come along for the occasion then........i can help you through tools towards the other end of the garage when it slps and grooves a nice line in the paint.

Hey Dave just to set the record straight, before any ugly rumours start circulating.
I ordered Red insert for my delux a year ago, before I started trading, it came through as pink not reddy pink but definately shiney pink. As Dave put it "dogs Kn*b" pink. For the pleasure of having an outrageous colour I paid a Sydney outlet an equally outrageous sum of $116 just for the insert !!
So if anyone wants to buy pink insert I have some for a bargain price of $116
or
I can hang it on the wall as a momento of being well and truly shafted !!
Dave I think it would suit yours without a doubt, it would be a loud statement

I dont know if I could handle the attention.
I am the quiet shy retiring type and too much attention is not good for me, I retreat into my inner self.
Sorry!!! got carried away there, you know I drive a split( the car you dont want if you dont like people staring at you every time you stop, or even as you are driving.)
