i thought that i would forgo my saturday sleep in and get going nice and early up to classicvw to buy some parts that i have been wanting for a long time, so we swung by cruisin car carpets first to pick up a mates carpet kit then headed to classic.
He was shut, closed, gone for the day.:cry
If it wasn't for my mate laughing at me i think i would have cried. I was there between the stated business hours on their website and no-one was there.
Oh well i guess i will call before i make that trip again, a wasted day and a lesson learnt.

so i thought that they were out to lunch so i came pack an hour later to the same thing.
but yes in between fits of laughter my mate suggested that i should have called before i went.

Yeap
drove well all the way up the coast. Got new tyres in Sydney for it as I got the steering aligned as well. Apart from that, fine, even got used to adjusting the stereo without watching.
Will park it on base now, may let the rego slip and work on it in the hobby hut if I can get bloody access to it!!

wprst one was last Anzac day, watched a young female Navy Officer march past with a wreath, and thought what a wonderful Uniform whites are (when they fit a fit person btw). Wasn't thinking about what I was doing and when I got up, squaregaited for five steps!!
My guys were the honour guard and one of their wives videoed it. Suffice to say it was just easier to throw a BBQ and buy three cartons!.

i think that if you have your mug printed anywhere then it is a carton.
and about the squaregating! don't worry the head drill instructor for RMC got up to recieve an award for outstanding service or something like that. Went up recieved the award and swuaregated off back to his position.

Four trips later and I finally get there.
Got all the things that i was after today,
running boards, shifter, hub caps, j tubes and rearview mirror.
Hey it only took a week and a bit and four trips to sydney.
