Thought it might be interesting to see where we all work, or what school/university we go to?
I work at the 'Quality Resort All Seasons International' which is one of only a couple of Bendigo's 5 star motels. My position is Night Porter hence why all my posts are done in the wee hours of the morning. In the job i do anything and everything from cleaning, cooking, bar work, room service, reception work. Its a pretty cool job and there is always something to do. The best part of my job is when i sit at front reception to do paper work i have to look out and see my 62 beetle parked in the front entrance looking pretty flash under all the down lights, with all the chrome sparkling and the bumpers gleming. :thumb
Its about now i come up with all the ways in the world to spend the weeks wage before i get it. :duh

hey.i work in aged care its cool working with elderly people.some of there stories are pretty funny,,use to work for mental health now thats a chellenge.gave nursing away for 12 months last year and did rustproofing and detailing, i have a small detailing business i just love playing with car but more dollars from nursing ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,colleen

I work for a tour company as a tour guide/ coach driver taking people mainly up to Mount tamborine then up to Lamington national park and the orielly's guesthouse. Damn windy road and always looking out for idiots coming the other way. Will also head down to Byrin Bay and up to the sunshine coast. Also get to see heaps of VW's cruising up the pacific motorway so if you see a Australian Day tours bus waving at you the you know who it is

I work for the Port of Gladstone in Qld scheduling the coal,woodchip,magnesite,calcite and grain ships into the harbour for loading. Interesting stuff happening all the time. Also have to contend with Australian Navy and Army personel that come here on there way to Shoal Water Bay. 12 hour days 8 day fortnight. Lots of time off to zoom around in Vern 74 beetle

High care for the elderly folk.
Has some very funny moments in the Dementia ward, & some happy moments...like celebrate a 97 yr old's birthday.
& some sad moments too.....when one passes away.
I do all things, laundry, cleaning, kitchen, etc etc....multiskilled.
Before that job, I was a teachers aide in a special school.

I make Props and Miniatures for film and Television,
Based at Movieworld studios on the Gold Coast but I have also worked in Sydney and Melbourne on MI:2, Moulin Rouge and Queen of the damned.
I love my work but sometimes the breaks between films get a bit long and I run out of Money,
I also DJ in Surfers paradise so ensure I can pay my rent and sometimes I can buy some food too. Again, its seasonal, through schoolies and up into the christmas break its full on 6-7 nights a week and sometimes during theday too if I'm not on a film but at times like now its usually just on a saturday night and the odd party.
Nonetheless, I am quite happy, but a bit of stability would help me buy a house.

currently im a drama teacher. i work with individuals of any age, have worked with kids aged 14-25 tutoring independant for sc, hsc and professional careers.
currently im out in tahmoor working with a gorup of 25 students ages 9-14 with learning disabilities; be it add, adhd, ashbergers, tourettes, etc etc.
i also teach a girl with systic fibrosis - well i think its systic firbosis... possibly another disease. unsure
the kids are driving me insane! there hasnt been a lesson where i havent yelled or threatened to tell parents, but its all fun for them

I get to drive around and talk a lot the whole day. When there is work to be done, I get on the trusty old mobile and organise someone else to do it. I have been employed for my superior negotiation and delegation skills !!! hehehehe, that must mean I was a crappy clinical nurse ?!?!?!?!!?

Well last I graduated from my Diploma of graphic design and I have had a few freelance jobs that are keeping me busy. But I have decided to look for a job for a year so I can save up for Uni and so I can travel to the US or Europe over Xmas. I am going to the Sunshine Coast uni next yeat hopefully to study Computer-based art and design.
Atm my boyfriend, myself and my parents are looking at going halves in a house to renovate!
