Mmm. Well as i started to push the Notch out into the blazing sun at 8am i knew it was going to be a good day.
11am 2 mates arrive at my humble garage , come 2nd home. 2 esky's full of red stripe ( double yum! ) and pulling a barby behind them.
After abit of work and the beers start flowing and barby fired up. This then pulls in a few neighbours , more beer and more comments on how i should do certain things. You know, folk that know jack shit about anything then they tell you what you should be doing. Sod off to Ikea! Anyway that aside , the garage is now more like a party , even had a few folk cleaning stuff for me , spot on!
Now it's about 3pm we have about 7 rather pissed people out in the baking sun getting into the what we now call the "gargare groove". Then another 2 mates rock up in a nice bug and it's now offically a meeting in my book!. They then decide they want to paint some parts and out comes the jack and we have a beetle in bits aswell as a notch in the dark garage. Neighbours are then treated to free snacks and cheap beer ( not the R/S ! )
Many snags eaten , many beers drunk and amazingly enough i got more done than i thought i would. Kept the neighbours sweet and everyones a happy bunny!
Thing that cracks me up is i live 5 mins from the beach , beautiful parks etc , etc and we chose some dusty lane , no views , etc to host our afternoons entertainment.
Tomorrow is going to be even hotter and i know that a few of todays loons have threatened to come back for more and supposedly lend a hand. OH LORD HELP US ALL !

Todays sunny day here in Adelaide was 36 degrees, and I picked it to fit my deluxe trim on the bus, 7 hours later and its finished.
Too bloody hot really but once you start you have to finish.
Didnt go for the beers as new paint and a drill dont really mis with beers

LOL , yea t'w is when Mr Jigsaw comes out to play and some serious cutting is in order to quite a few panels so no more Red Stripes til thats done at least. I hope ! :duh
Oh well beats me sitting there talking to my invisible friend about paint colours!
Just have to get up early and get some work done before the chimps arrive. Yea right!

so it was you southerners that snatched queenslands weather, its too cold for november!
it seems doing anything (even as menial as an oil change) when its hot and toasty, makes you feel like youve done twice as much, and you deserve that 6pack in the fridge even more 🙂

Mmmm
well its sunny today here 🙂 and tomorrow looks to be good as well.
Got up to watch the rugby and say the end of the league (unfortunately they told me the result of the England V Aust Rugby game as well, but as we won both I don't care 😀
Started reassembling the rear swing arms etc for the oval, and have a few bits just sitting out the back now with paint on them, just cooking for a few days in the predicted sunshine 🙂
Sweet weekend, even if I didn't get to Melb for DoVW.

haha i wam in the uk as well...
i was out mountain biking all day...
was sunny...but fu*king freezing!! took me a good 20mins in the shower to defrost.
covered in mud..skin off knuckles and hands, great day!!
