An idea about boosting membership numbers?

Just an idea at the moment, but ive seen some great dubs around recently and cant help thinking if they are members.

So, I thought if putting a small flyer under the windscreen wipers.

Just a simple one with Aussieveedubbers.com written on it.

What ya think? I dont know if its a good idea or not. Maybe we will win the hearts of the curious ones.

Do it in NSW and you are littering. $200+ on the spot fine.

If someone complains about a flyer under their wiper, the local council can persue the matter with whomever the flyer is for and fine them.

I know of two such cases where complaints have lead to fines.

or handwritten note, 'I hit your car come to ausieveedubbers to find me'

if you've got that in a sticker then i'll gladly stick it on the type 3 or golf 😀😀

i just write them a note, saying how much i love their car, with my avd nick, the url and my email addy.

i usually get any email from them and sometimes they have a look in the forums too🙂
