i am glad that no one from work is on the forum as i would be in a bit of trouble for mine.
It is the body outline of one of our Luitenents who flew his parachute straight into the side of our packing shed. As soon as he was taken inside from hitting the shed i got the masking tape out and made the outline.
It is still the joke of the base.

i like yours tho bone collector, i saw a simillar sticker in sydney when i was down there last and thought it would look good on my car. instead i went for the red latex devil dominatix sitting in front of an 8-ball. 2guns is quite amusing (but dont let the riceboys see it) and $2.63's avatar cracks me up each time i see it.

i moderate on some..i've been on boards that have been sued, shut-down, and chased.....
the best way to do things..is if a moderator/owner/admin decides that if something could be 'risque' for the forum, the easiest way to do things is to remove it.
there's a lotta sh*t going down on a board i'm part of at the moment...if you wanna see what happen when things get bad.i can give you a link... there's plenty of things to look at avd..and if you're coming here to watch lobuses boobs..then something ain't right..

This is the AUSSIE VEEDUBBERS forum. It's not the BOUNCY BOOBS forum. There are many, many places on the Net for the bouncy boobs, and this place is simply not one of them for the reasons I've outlined elsewhere.
I'm not going to get into the power thing. If I was into power, I'd be a moderator, and I'd moderate (move and delete posts, tell people off and ban people) every day. You don't see that do you? I move / edit posts maybe once or twice a quarter. As part of an overall owner/admin vote, we've banned two people for threatening to sue the forum and potentially ending our very existence. One of these guys is now back. Compared to most forums I'm on, moderation is very very very lightweight here.
It's done very selectively, and if you go over the line as per the forum rules (which we had a discussion and iterative revisions based upon member feedback about 12 months ago), I take action as per those rules and tell you why.

i'm with vanderaj on this one, some of it is offensive.. and plus there is no need for it really. For example my wife won't come on the forum anymore cause of all the titty action, lets not turn this into a little boys club.

We have lost dave (lobus) from the forum, he has deleated most of his posts and will not be back again, shame really as it was (in my eye's and most others) not offensive. We will loose others too if we continue to be big brother on little indiscretions. As a moderator i would rather stop the bull shit slurs and negative comments on the forum than worrie about avatars (unless nudity was present or a Ford!).

Ok, I'm a girl and personally, it's very hard to offend me so I didn't find those avatars offensive.
HOWEVER...
I think everyone should respect that people of all ages/sexes use this forum and should not whinge when risque pics are deleted. I'm sure if I started posting pics of c**ks others would complain (as they would have every right to so I respect that and don't do it- and they're funny looking anyway so I wouldn't want to! 😉 ). There's rules and regulations that we all must abide by if we want to keep the forums a reasonably calm and happy place for all. If you want boobs, there are plenty of places online to look at them- after all, why else was the internet created? 😀
There was some semi-nudity (ie. nipple) involved in some of the avatars so argueing that they shouldn't have been deleted without seeing them isn't probably the best thing. And please, if moderators are going to argue with moderators, would it be ok if it is done in a more private situation? I think that two people with "power" (if you know what I mean) should be discussing and agreeing upon the rules before arguing their opinions. If a rule is decided upon, shouldn't the moderators of all people understand that and stick to it?

All the moderators on here do a fantastic job. They are human too, remember, and not employed by the forum but volunteers.
Personally, I really enjoy being able to use this forum whilst I'm at work. Now, I work for one of the largest Energy / Oil companies in the world (bp), and with large companies comes really really really strict IT and diversity / inclusion / harrassment policies. We cant even have tasteful photos of swimsuit models anywhere at work.
I dont want the forum to get to the stage that I'm too afraid to log on, in case there will be an avatar / photo that shows too much. Its an instant dismissal, and its written into my contract with the company. Boom, see ya later. Seen it happen before.
Now, my personal opinion ? An avatar is just a little bloody picture to give people a laugh, and show a bit of your personality to add flavour to your posts. If someone objects to your avatar / post, they have found it offensive and that is that. Every one has the same rights here.
After all, this is a VW forum, so lets keep it reasonable, esp as there are kids as young as 13 and 15 on here.

Yeh Yeh, kids use this forum i know, but hey it was only bloody cartoon tits in a top, most kids who use pc's and are online have obviously come across some kinda porn/nudity, just look at some of the film ratings and the nudity on them, stop mother cuderling and get a life, i am sure there is more to worry about in the world at the moment and thats cause of a thing called 'religion'..as for using the net at work phhttt, do your jobs!!

If these 13 and 15 year olds have access to the internet, they probably have seen worse than the odd cheeky avatar.
As far as work goes, you are already breaking the rules by using your employers machines for non business use. (unless bp is commisioning you to research and build old vw's...)
