thanks to Chris for telling me , thank you for the info .
You taking the 23 window down W ? = green van with rust holes in the roof
& the driver has one long left arm and one short right arm , now he will be easly spoted in the mass of people down there on the day .This has all come about due to one very short vw gear stick .
*news to hand , the drive also has a power full right leg to to the poor brakes in this beast .😀

Yeah I was wondering when this was gunna crack a mention but being a Newbie, I didn't want to put my 2 bobs worth in..
I will be delivering Australia's Oldest Beetle to the show and taking it back to its resting spot afterwards..
I'll have my Moster bug down there too and I hear that the huge white Beetle Limo will be on show as well...

can I bring some race tape as well , I did hear its good for holding down the roof on green splitys W , You can apply the tape and paint right over it no one would know its there .You only need to replace the tape when the sun gets to it * this makes it lift * and expose the nasty bits .

Morning:
Drove the truck to Freo, waited 20 minutes for someone to turn up and open the museum, moved a '57 Caddy convert out, loaded up the '46, put the Caddy back, Careful trip to Burswood to drop off '46..
Race home in truck, get Baja ready to fire up, find Split fuel hose, load up anyway, go to All Parts, buy new hose, fix on truck, drive to servo, replace missing tank load of BP Ultimate at 112.50 Per litre then on to Burswood with Baja on truck...
Afternoon:
Repeat process in Reverse without Fuel hose incident, then onto North beach for stolen car recovery tow, go home and Collapse in chair...🙂

For those in Perth that can get the Access 31 channel on their TV, Cruizin' (Monday nights @ 8.30pm) will feature the show from the weekend on Monday 13th Dec', and the parting shot at the end of the show should be a bit of fun too...:P

the show was pretty good. I stayed for a few hours and some good cars turned up.
Yellow oval was the car i liked most at show, Samba was cool but so was that low mat black split.
good to see a few buggies there as well

Antony's matt black splitty is very cool, lovely to drive too
Can you believe he drives that thing to Mandurah 4 times a week (150km round trip!), and carry's furniture and limestone water features around in it!

Oh, I got asked to take a camera out for our next trip to the tracks and get some action footage for them to use on a future show...
I'll be planning a trip for some time in Jan or Feb if anyone's interested in some mild off roading on Rally Australia style tracks...
