I will pass on the steering wheel,
It looks nice but It isn't a "Batwing" a Batwing wheel is a July '55 and earlier wheel, described that way because of the pressing on the spokes.
I need one for my '54 and want to keep it original.

is it made from plastic or fibreglass (paintable?) and how does it attach? Bolts through grill on bonnet?

Plastic can be paintable with correct primer clips on through bonnet grille.
