hey kids i just wanted to gloat that i got to see frenhal rhomb, rubix cuba and 10 other local newcastle bands for $15 dollars.
the crowd was awesome. skanking circles for the ska and massive mosh pits for frenzal. even my huge self went crowd surfing! i even got up on stage with frenzal and rocked out with em till security got on stage. i jumped back into the crowd and was never noticed again....

If only they did listen to this it would be great. Oh well.

mmmmm, skanking is so much fun. At the Rapid Festival last year, Area 7 played and about 10 skankin circles popped up.
Frenzal Rhomb + more for $15 = bloody awesome.:thumb

yep! i agree with that. saw the porkers in brissy a couple weeks back. gotta love home grown ska!!! maybe sax just isn't feeling the music - can't help but get up and skank and jump around!!!:beer

the porkers, better than a poke in the eye and los capitanes are playing in canberra sometime soon, unsure of date.
apparently theres a picture of me in a parent newsletter regarding unruly behaviour at concerts! find it!

I have no problems getting up a skank. Plenty out my way.
I'm an old bugger, but real ska, sax driven ska like Madness is great.

madneesss is brilliant stuff. my favourite recent ska bands are rubix cuba, better than a poke in the eye, the skatellites, los capitanes.
im also a big fdan of swing revival, such as the cherry poppin daddies and the brian setser orchestra.
hmm, this probably sounds strange coming from the vocalist in a metal band doesnt it?
